Upright growth habit. Young extended leaves, light green on the upper surface and darker on the lower surface. Adult leaves are pentagonal, medium-sized, light green in colour without gloss and a U-shaped petiolar sinus. Medium-sized clusters, regularly compacted, semi-parched visible peduncle. Medium-sized berries are black, waxy and spheroid-shaped.
The Garnacha variety is full-bodied, viscous with attractive red and gold colours; but it ages fast, oxidizing and clings to clusters.
